SVB's lack of depositor diversity led to vulnerability; Rep. Khanna remarks

A stress test would have shown that SVB didn’t have a diverse depositor base and they were susceptible to having 20-30 large accounts withdraw their money. This was bad management and the executives should be held accountable. It’s also time for stronger regulations.
